I really really like Callippe, and will definitely come again !!!First of all, service is awesome, both the check-in counter and starter gave very warm and sincere welcome. The design of back 9 is understandablely probably the best around Bay Area, especially Hole 15 to Hole 18, there's bridges to connect you from ditches to ditches, meanwhile, it's just so lovely 😍.Have to mention Hole 18, to me, this hole should be handicap 1, 500+ yards divided by 2 huge ditches, so you really need to know where to lay up.The best part is the price you pay for this course is unbeatable.
This is a review for people who don’t golf. I like being outside, riding in the golf cart, and enjoying a good book. This is my review based off that:Golf carts: 7/10 I wished the screen was mounted up high and not so low. There was a glare on the screen often and it was in the way of the cup holders. 🤷♀️Views: 9/10 super pretty, we played at sunset so it was lovely rolling hills, greenery and sunsetsCourse: 8/10? I dunno based off how annoyed my partner was half the time, it seemed semi-hard but not like super hard. I wish it was more spread out though, there were always people in front and back of us.Vibes: 9/10 this might not make people happy but as a gold cart passenger princess, I love this. Weekends mean there’s weddings happening and I could hear the DJ throughout the course; so that was awesome.Overall: 8/10
A beautiful and challenging golf course. Only a few miles from the freeway but it seems like you're way out in the country. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Reviews
Callippe Preserve Golf Course receives a mix of positive feedback from reviewers. The golf carts are rated well for the most part, although some mention issues with screen placement and glare. The views are highly praised, especially during sunset, showcasing lovely rolling hills and greenery. Reviewers find the course challenging but not overly difficult, with some wishing for more spacing between players. The vibes on weekends are described as lively due to weddings happening nearby, adding to the overall experience. Despite minor critiques like bunker sand quality and pace of play on busy days, visitors appreciate the well-maintained fairways and greens along with friendly staff service.

Course is in pretty good shape, fairways and greens were well maintained. Bunkers could use some fresh sand though (i found a few which why my comment here).Do wish the beverage cart was available though, got a little thirsty on the back nine.
Probably the nicest "muni" course in a 50 mile radius. Usually well maintained, challenging and interesting layout. Best value in the entire East Bay. Only downside is pace of play. Update: Too popular now so rounds usually take 5 to 5.5 hours on weekdays, worse on weekends.
