I have quite a lot of duplicate files in my OneDrive account. This happened because of software I use that improperly synced my PC's by downloading my files from OneDrive, and then uploading them with the PC's name attached to the file name. Because of this I have several copies of many files, but with slightly different names, and in different locations. The date stamps may also be different, I'm not sure right now. Can SpaceMonger find those files and point them out to me?
Here's an example:
- Family at beach 99KB (ORIGINAL)
- Family at beach_Desktop1 99KB
- Family at beach_WorkNotebook 99KB
- Family at beach_Notebook1 99KB
- Family at beach_Tablet1 99KB

Hello,
Yes, you should be able to use SpaceMonger to view these files. You would just need to Scan the drive you want to search through and then enter your search criteria into the search box:

Once searched, you can sort the results at the bottom.

Thank you. I don't see that in the screenshots. Is there a help file or manual to check?

I'm hoping to be able to scan through the following locations:
Dropbox
OneDrive
[My Laptop]
[My AndroidSmartphone]
...and get rid of bunches of ancient files (many of them identical) that I no longer want, without having some OneDrive or DropBox mechanism automatically "heal" itself and replace files from other sources that I no longer want to keep*
Each location can, of course, have multiple subdirectories within which these duplicate files may be kept. I also want to be able to delete files that aren't duplicated, just dso I can dedicate one afternoon to cleaning all that mess up, using a single app, and be done with it
Is this something that "Spacemonger" can do for me?
* I'm probably wrong about this, but I get the sense that if I delete something from--let's say--my smartphone, that Dropbox notes the missing file, and replaces it with a copy from the cloud. I've spent hours deleting files from my phone, only to discover that they've reappeared by the next day (or, at least, the next time I've looked). Or I could just be an idiot.

Thank you, but that program is no longer supported in Windows. And I really don't want to have to change out operating systems (to Linus, for example).

That's true.
SpaceMonger does not have a file compare function
