Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need. Our office is located at 2775 Crossroads Blvd, Grand Junction, CO 81506.

We offer 1 week of paid on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST, from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.Primary Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve on the first call, customer service inquires and issues by identifying the topic and type of assistance the caller needs such as benefits, eligibility and claims, financial spending accounts and correspondence
• Assist customers in talking with Advocates at UHC, navigating myuhc.com and other UnitedHealth Group websites while encouraging and guiding them towards becoming self-sufficient in using these tools.
• Assist walk-in members, identifying the topic and type of assistance needed and resolving any member concerns

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of experience
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• 2+ years of combined education, work and / OR volunteer experience
• Experience with using Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST, from Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service experience
• Health Care / Insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design)
• Experience with multi-line call center systems

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
